In response to guidelines issued by the Mayor’s Office and the San Francisco Department of Public Health, we have elected to cancel our Bookeaters’ Bash event on March 19.
We are monitoring the situation closely in order to determine how best to move forward, and hope to announce a rescheduled Bookeaters’ Bash or a re-imagined event soon. If you have questions in the interim, please reach out to us at development@826valencia.org or call 415.642.5905 x233.
We are as disappointed as you are. The Bookeaters’ Bash raises critical funds for our free writing programs for under-resourced students across San Francisco. There is nothing that makes us prouder than showcasing the strong, confident student voices your support makes possible. And we could all use a little inspiration from the voices of our young people—especially now!
Though this particular event is on hold for now, you can still donate today to show your support for our students, whose hard work and powerful voices change our world for the better.
We appreciate your flexibility and understanding. Stay well, and stay tuned!
826 Valencia warmly invites you to our biggest fundraiser of the year, the annual Bookeaters’ Bash!
Don’t miss this inspiring benefit event in support of our free, one-of-a-kind writing, tutoring, and publishing programs, now serving more than 9,000 under-resourced students in San Francisco.
Join us for an evening of words, wit, and wonder.
